naturally in many materials and controlling the moisture content is critical to many processes such as concrete production, oil extraction, animal feed production to name but a few.&nbsp; It is important to measure moisture for many reasons.&nbsp; Some include:<\/p>\n    <\/div>\n    \n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list container-xl ps-5\">\n<li>Efficient use of materials &#8211; maintaining the material\/water ratio<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Blend materials \u2013 obtain the correct proportion of dry materials in the mix<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Optimise processes &#8211; many processes work best at particular moisture contents<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Reduce wear on processing machinery<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Reduce wastage caused by incorrect moisture content<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensuring the correct consistency
